Recently, the JTMG-3430 gasification slag drying production line, invested and constructed by an environmental protection technology company in Yulin, Shanxi Province, officially commenced operation, marking a crucial step forward in the resource utilization of local coal solid waste. This production line targets gasification slag with a moisture content of 50% produced during coal gasification, reducing it to 30% through efficient drying, laying the foundation for its subsequent use in building materials.

The production line includes a feeding system, the JTMG-3430 three-cylinder dryer, a hot air furnace, a dust removal system, and an intelligent control system. The core equipment, the JTMG-3430 dryer, adopts a three-cylinder nested structure, achieving rapid dehydration through counter-current contact between high-temperature flue gas and the material, with a designed capacity of 42 tons/hour. Its innovation lies in:
1. Energy efficiency: Thermal efficiency is increased by 40% compared to traditional single-drum dryers, and unit energy consumption is reduced by 25%;
2. Environmental performance: Equipped with a two-stage purification system of cyclone dust collector + bag filter dust collector, dust emission concentration is below 20mg/m³;
3. Intelligent control: The PLC system adjusts temperature and air volume parameters in real time to ensure stable moisture content meets standards.
The project leader stated that the equipment successfully solved technical problems such as high-moisture gasification slag sticking to the walls and agglomeration. The dried material can be directly used to produce environmentally friendly building materials. After the project is put into operation, it is expected to process 300,000 tons of gasification slag annually, reducing solid waste storage space by over 50,000 square meters, achieving a win-win situation for both economic and environmental benefits.
